Human Rights Attorney. Author. Humanitarian. Advocate.

“An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

What I Believe

I became a lawyer because I saw what happened when people had no one in their corner. I have spent my career making sure that the most vulnerable people in this country, those the system was never designed to protect, have someone who will fight for them. Supporting nearly one hundred thousand cases, I have seen patterns that the rest of the world has not yet stopped to examine.

Immigration

that is weaponized as control.

Domestic violence

that does not look like a bruise. Men who are victimized and have no language for what is happening to them.

Human trafficking

that is weaponized as control.

These are not isolated stories. They are a crisis that our systems are not yet built to see. My work spans the law firm, the courtroom, the research lab, the lecture hall, and published media. You are here because you work with people in these situations, or because you are one of them. Either way, you are in the right place.

Core values

What Drives This Work

Human Rights

Every person, regardless of gender, status, origin, or circumstance, deserves to be seen, protected, and heard. That is not a political position. It is a non-negotiable truth.

Equality

Advocacy that leaves anyone behind is incomplete advocacy. Alexandra’s work is built on the conviction that justice must be available to everyone.

Courage

The harder the conversation, the more necessary it becomes. Alexandra has built her career on being willing to go where others have not.

Growing

The law, the research, and the stories are always evolving. So is Alexandra’s understanding of them.

Community

Change does not happen alone. It happens in the relationships, the partnerships, and the coalitions that form around a shared belief in a better world.
